CHEMICAL ANALYSIS VIA OPTICAL EMISSION SPECTROMETRY

In order to perform chemical analysis of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, Labmat has two cutting-edge ARL optical emission spectrometers - model 3460 - installed in our branches which are capable of analyzing a total of thirty elements on the following bases: Aluminum, Copper, Nickel and Cobalt. All Iron-based alloys can be analyzed, such as: Carbon Steel, Low Alloy, Manganese Steel, Stainless Steel, Tool Steel, and Grey, Nodular and White Cast Iron. They may be Grey, Nodular and White Iron, Copper, Nickel and Cobalt.

COMBUSTION CHEMICAL ANALYSIS – LECO (C and S)

This equipment analyzes the C (Carbon) and S (Sulphur) elements of the materials via infrared reading. Primary International Reference Materials are used.

VACCUM MELTING FURNACE

In order to analyze small-sized samples, such as wires, chips and sheets, the laboratory has a re-melting furnace under inert gas atmosphere in which a sample proper to the analysis via optical emission spectrometer is obtained.

GAS CHEMICAL ANALYSIS VIA COMBUSTION

The presence of gases in metals may be harmful depending on their content. In order to keep these under control, Labmat has A cutting-edge Eltra analyzer, model ONH-2000, which analyzes Oxygen, Hydrogen and Nitrogen, via combustion.
