ULTRA-SOUND TEST

In order to meet the needs of the varied segments in the domestic industry, we provide our services of inspections by means of ultra-sound methods through Labmat Service, with qualified equipment and professionals both using the SNQC (Sistema Nacional de Qualificação e Certificação - National System of Qualification and Certification) and the ASNT (American Society for Non-Destructive Testing) systems.

MAGNETIC PARTICLE TEST

Just as we perform the ultrasound testing, whenever it is required to detect superficial or sub-superficial discontinuities in magnetic materials, we provide also our clients with magnet particle testing through our Labmat Service.

PENETRATING LIQUID TESTING (DYE TESTING)

With the purpose of detecting discontinuities on the material surfaces, such as cracks and pores, our SNQC/ASNT Inspectors at Labmat Service offer LP services in the fields of:

• Boiler shops;

• Metallurgy shops;

• Foundries, etc.

The purpose of the Penetrating Liquid Testing is to ensure the product reliability, by means of obtaining a visual image that reveals the discontinuity of the part surface (stain), a reflection of the nature of the discontinuity without damaging the parts, ensuring a separation between the acceptable and non-acceptable parts according to the criteria established.

METALLOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS BY REPLICA

Labmat Services, by improving its techniques and services, and sensing the need of advances in the sector of non-destructive testing, has a team of highly qualified professionals to perform metallographic analyses in the field, without adversely affecting the integrality of the part. 

Relying on portable microscopes and digital cameras, the technician is able to capture images and also accurately interpret the morphological characteristics of the material under analysis in the site where it is being inspected.
